| Dallas Headlines By: MetroSoruce News (Undated) -- Here's the latest on the stories making news at this hour: A run-in with a club owner and a bouncer leads to the arrest of an off duty Dallas officer. It was a case of hit and run as a Good Samaritan was killed in an accident, while he was helping others. Azle residents have been told to boil their water, at least until a water line break is repaired. And, arson did not stop members of an East Texas church from meeting Sunday, at an alternative location, and they vow to rebuild. >>Off Duty Dallas Officer Arrested After Altercation Outside Nightclub (Dallas, TX) -- A Dallas police officer is under arrest after a run-in with the owner and a bouncer at a club on lower Greenville. Matthew Kirchmeier says he and the 37-year-old off duty officer -- Sergeant Hector Roa -- scuffled. He says Roa, who had been drinking, came up, demanding to be let back into the "Club Public House" bar. It apparently happened as the two men were closing up for the night. Kirchmeier says at one point in the scuffle, he thought he was a dead man, when Roa pulled a gun on him. Roa is charged with two counts of aggravated assault. >>Good Samaritan Killed In Hit And Run Accident (Dallas, TX) -- A random act of kindness led to the death of a 30-year-old man in Dallas over the weekend. Police say Ronald Davis, Junior stopped early Sunday along Stemmons Freeway to help to a couple of people whose cars had broken down. The man was said to have been walking back to his car after talking to the stranded motorists when the Good Samaritan was struck by what looked like a four-door SUV, possibly a Jeep -- which fled the scene. The force of the crash threw him across the wall into the southbound lanes where he was hit by another vehicle. Both vehicles fled before police arrived. >>A "Boil Water" Advisory Is In Effect In Azle (Azle, TX) -- Residents in Azle are being asked to boil tap water. That's if they have water, at all, albeit often at lower than normal pressure. Crews worked through the night to restore full water service to Azle -- which is northwest of Ft. Worth. This all follows a water line break. Residents are advised to bring water to a vigorous, rolling boil. Once boiling, continue to boil water for two minutes. The boil water advisory will be lifted once all water service is restored, and Azle city workers test the water to make sure it's safe to drink. >>Members Of Burned Out Church Say Their Faith Will See Them Through (Wills Point, TX) -- At the 6th east Texas church to be set fire by arsonists the past few weeks -- it was an emotional Sunday morning service. The congregation at Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point met in a fellowship hall across the street from their sanctuary, which was destroyed by fire last week. Sunday, they paused to sing hymns and give thanks. And pastor Darrell Coat -- on the job for just a week -- says church members are full of faith in Christ, and confident that they will rebuild. The church was fully insured.
