And, San Antonio police arrest alleged drunk driver for hitting two pedestrians. >>Funds Raised For Haitian Relief (San Antonio, TX) -- People in the Alamo City are taking extraordinary means to raise money to assist people who survived the devastating earthquake in Haiti. Children have emptied their piggy banks and sold Valentines, while church parishioners, and members of the armed forces at Lackland and Fort Sam Houston plus countless others continue efforts to support Haiti. Archbishop Jose Gomez said parishioners have once again shown compassion and generosity in response to the tragedy in Haiti. >>Father Continues Search For Baby (San Antonio, TX) -- Logan Mequeary is in town to see if anyone can lead him to Gabriel Johnson. Mequeary met with the San Antonio Police Department yesterday. KABB was the only television station with Mequeary when he was notified the police were starting a homicide case for the missing boy. Mequeary told KABB is feels more comfortable that everything possible is being done to find his nine-month-old son. >>Weather Wizards Warn Of More Rain (San Antonio, TX) -- Meteorologists at WOAI News are tracking another rainmaker headed for the Alamo City. The weather pattern comes from an upper level storm system over Southern California that will roll across the San Antonio area, producing showers early today with the possibility of thunderstorms this afternoon. The rains will diminished by Tuesday afternoon, but Mother Nature is sending another storm through the area on Thursday with a chance for rain-sleet or snow. The sun is expected to return to San Antonio skies on Friday. >>Accused Drunk Driver Hits Two Pedestrians (San Antonio, TX) -- Juan Alberto Garcia was arrested by San Antonio police early yesterday for striking two pedestrians. Twenty-one-year-old Garcia's blood-alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit when police say he struck Kelsey Korgwchak and Matthew Clem in the 100 block of Evergreen Street with his Ford Taurus. Garcia failed two Breathalyzer tests, and was placed in Bexar County Jail with bond set at 25-hundred dollars.
