Missing Women: Person of Interest Questioned
By: James Clark
He is not a suspect, just a person of interest. But there was enough interest for a search warrant.
Well perhaps you heard during our simulcast of News Channel 11 at Six that police questioned a person of interest in the case of two missing Lubbock women. The man is not being called a suspect. But he was questioned for two hours yesterday. Police got a search warrant for the man’s vehicle and will look for DNA evidence. Meanwhile, the family of one missing woman, Peggy Sue Merimon, is terribly troubled and thinks this is now a case of foul play. That’s what they told News Channel 11. Merimon and her co-worker Louetta Kay Harrelson disappeared from their place of work last week. At around noon last Wednesday they were seen getting into the car of an unidentified man.
