| Madison Sowder Dies By: James Clark News Radio 1420 has confirmed that well known lawyer and community activist Madison Sowder has died. Audio added. News Radio 1420 has learned that Madison Sowder has passed away. Sowder had been in bad health recently. Sowder was a founding partner in one of the most reputable law firms in Lubbock. He was also former Chairman of the Democratic Party of Lubbock County, back in the days when the Democrats were the majority.
